School Reform through the Arts Integration Model
In Fall of 2018, we launched a new partnership with Crayola to deliver high-quality arts integration Professional Development to teachers to help transform three high-poverty, low performing schools. We secured a grant from the TN Arts Commission to begin driving this initiative over a as three-year period.
MCPS Academic Procedures Manual & Progression Plan 9-12
Honored to provide the vision and oversight to develop an academic procedures manual to provide alignment with TN State Board Policies, MCPS polices and the TN Dept of Education. This document is the product of a collaborative effort that serves as a practical guide for school counselors and administrators and includes a progression plan for students in grades 9-12.
Firestone Training Academy
Partnered with Bridgestone to create the first Firestone Training Academy in the nation for high school students pursuing industry certification in Automotive engineering careers at Maplewood High School.
Leadership Development
We have intensified the focus on human capital development through professional learning in order to build capacity for the school system.
